Using Continuous Improvement to Build Social Service Delivery Programs

Presenters from SOAR Fox Cities, a local non-profit organization, will share how continuous improvement coaching and tools were used to develop a new program serving individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI.) Along their continuous improvement journey, they learned the importance of using data to inform decisions and how to implement tools such as Value Stream Mapping and PICK charts. Their story will demonstrate that even beginners can use continuous improvement methods to make changes and how these tools can be applied to human services.

SOAR Fox Cities is a local non-profit organization that provides programs and services to individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries. SOAR offers a variety of services that range from Youth, Adult and Family Programs, Advocacy, Community Education, and even the third largest Special Olympics organization in the state!
